Feasible methods of image sequence stabilization for marine applications

Аннотация:
We considered some methods for detecting a frame displacement in image sequence for marine applications. For this goal, two kinds of techniques can be used: direct and indirect. The first one is based on analyzing the image itself – finding its feature points. The second one uses the information from fiber-optical gyroscopes. As a result, their comparison is performed as well as an analysis of their capability to meet the challenge of video stabilization for marine applications.
