Nowadays, the problem of economic efficiency has become central in economics because of the formation of market economy in Russia which is characterized by economic instability and development followed by a period of crisis. Economy efficiency adequately reflects the results of the whole economic system. The level of efficiency affects the solution of economic and social problems, such as rapid economic growth, improving living standards, reducing inflation, improving working conditions etc. The aim of this work is to research the efficiency of the national economy of Russia, in particular, the efficiency of the industrial sphere and economic efficiency in social sphere.
